Geelong Cycling Club Tour de France Evening

Geelong Cycling Club invites all cycling enthusiasts to join them in a unique Tour de France evening on Saturday the 12th of July.

Evening Format

Date: Saturday 12th July

Venue: Geelong Cats Community Facility, Kardinia Park

Time: from 8.00pm – 1.00am

Pre-stage Entertainment: 8:30pm Panel Discussion – Darren Baum (contemporary frame builder), Ken Evans (traditional frame builder) and Dr Paul Collins (design engineer);

Stage 8: 10pm Tomblaine > Gerardmer La Mauselaine

Food/Drink: Finger food, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages provided.

Cost: $15/head

In a major coup for all cyclists, Ken Evans (traditional frame builder), Darren Baum (contemporary frame builder) & Dr Paul Collins (design engineer) Deakin will share their vast and extensive expertise in frame building and design. This is a wonderful chance to hear from these local & renowned industry experts.

All proceeds from the evening will assist in supporting the Geelong Cycling Club Junior program.


Attendees will be able to pay at the door.

The venue is at the South/ West end of KP, entry through the Doug Wade Gate.
